From your first classroom lesson to your behind-the-wheel driving test, Connections American English gives you the tools, practice, and real-world skills to thrive in America.
At Connections American English, we believe language is more than vocabulary and grammar. It's about building the confidence to navigate daily life, from ordering coffee to passing your driving test, from making small talk to advancing your career.
Located in the heart of Brooklyn, we serve a diverse community of immigrants, international students, and professionals who are eager to speak English with fluency and comfort. Our experienced instructors tailor every lesson to your goals, whether you're starting from scratch or polishing an already strong foundation.
We also offer professional driving instruction, because mastering the roads is just as important as mastering the language. Together, these programs give you the practical skills you need to feel at home in America.
Whether you're learning English for the first time, preparing for a driving test, or looking for personalized instruction, we have a program designed for your goals.
From absolute beginner to advanced fluency, our structured courses build real speaking ability. Practice conversation, master grammar, and learn the cultural context that makes communication natural.
One-on-one sessions tailored entirely to your needs. Whether you need focused grammar help, interview preparation, or accelerated learning, our private lessons adapt to your pace and objectives.
Learn to drive safely and confidently with our professional driving instruction. From the fundamentals to road test preparation, we guide you every step of the way behind the wheel.
We're not a faceless chain. Our students become a community — practicing together, supporting each other, and building real friendships beyond the classroom.
Our teachers bring both expertise and empathy. They understand the challenges of learning a new language and navigating life in a new country, and they tailor their approach accordingly.
We focus on what matters: speaking confidently, understanding native speakers, navigating daily situations, and passing your driving test on the first try.
Easy to reach from across Brooklyn, our center is designed to be a welcoming second home where you can relax, learn, and grow at your own pace.
Before Connections, I was too nervous to speak English in public. After just a few months of classes, I was ordering food, asking for directions, and even making small talk with my neighbors. The instructors made me feel safe to make mistakes — and that made all the difference.
I needed to pass my driving test and was terrified of the road. My instructor was incredibly patient and explained everything in simple English. I passed on my first try, and I couldn't have done it without the confidence I built at Connections.
The private tutoring was exactly what I needed. My instructor created a custom plan around my work schedule, and we focused on the business English I needed for my job. Within weeks, I could lead meetings in English without panic.
Whether you're picking up English for the first time, sharpening skills for a new job, or learning to drive, Connections American English is your partner in every step. Come see what a supportive, energizing learning environment feels like.
